Mexico’s most famous pharmacist has jumped on the World Cup Wagon.
Dr. Simi is entering the US market via CVS Pharmacy, with a release that includes a limited-edition Dr. Simi Mexico Jersey, just in time for the 2026 World Cup.
The Dr. Simi Mexico Jersey is available in a design that is comparable to the iconic 1998 Mexico ABA Sport jersey, which features a bold Aztec design across the front of the jersey awash in emerald green, with red and white accents. Similarly, the Dr. Simi version plays on this classic kit with a twist— rather than an Aztec design, a giant Dr. Simi centers the jersey, as abstract lines cover the rest of the kit. The back of the jersey says “Mexico” along with the number 9, a traditional striker number— aka the player that makes all the shots.
On his US Instagram page, @drsimiusa, the beloved mascot is seen in his natural state— jamming to Shakira’s “Waka Waka” song while decked out in his eponymous kit. Originally posted on June 4th, the video alludes to a drop, giving viewers an exclusive look at the merch before providing details on the release.

The Instagram page has been regularly dropping hints of the release, including a video of Dr. Simi training in the field, and even opening up a “Simi pop” box— a likely reference to the Pop Mart Blind Boxes. And fans are loving the Dr. Simi World Cup merch!
