Gigabyte Launches Stealth DIY PC Kit That Hides All The Cables
If there’s one thing that unites PC builders of all stripes, it’s the difficulty of cable management. A lot of people (looks in mirror) would love to have cleaner wiring for their PC, but they feel it’s too time consuming to properly hide all those cables. Gigabyte has developed a solution to this problem in the form of a custom, “Stealth PC” kit. For now, Gigabyte is only selling these parts as a complete kit rather than individually, including the case, a custom motherboard, and a GPU. Gigabyte is only shipping an Intel motherboard for now.
This project was first teased back in , and now it’s available for purchase according to .
In addition to the swanky , there’s also an . It features a tempered glass side window as well as RGB lights that synchronize with Aorus components. There’s a PSU shroud to hide all its cables along with two 5.25″ drive bays underneath. The GPU can be mounted either horizontally or vertically if you’d like to show it off a bit. Its front I/O offers LED control, two USB 3.0 ports, and a lone USB 3.1 Type-C port. The case supports a 360mm radiator upfront and a 120mm radiator in the back. It doesn’t seem to offer any options for installing a radiator at the top, however.
The final piece of the puzzle is , and there’s good news and bad news. The good news is it’s an RTX 3070. The bad news is, that’s your only option. The Gaming OC 8GB Stealth GPU is an Aorus board with a triple fan Windforce cooler. It’s overclocked 90Mhz right out of the box with a base clock of 1,825Mhz. If you’re more into quiet than overclocking it features a dual BIOS for silent mode too. It offers a four year warranty and is the Lite Hash Rate version.
At press time Gigabyte’s for the kit was live but we couldn’t find a vendor selling the kit. It does appear that all three parts are sold as a bundle though, but unfortunately we couldn’t discern pricing. Given the high-end design of the components, it surely won’t be cheap.
