Braven raises $4.6M seed round to expand AI insurance infrastructure platform

Braven, an insurance infrastructure startup founded by a Colombian team, raised a $4.6M seed round led by Collide Capital. Fiat Ventures, MGV, Carao Ventures, Angeles VC, Broom Ventures, and several angel investors with executive experience in the global reinsurance industry also participated.

Braven provides AI-powered infrastructure for insurers, brokers, managing general agents (MGAs), and reinsurers. Its platform helps clients build and manage insurance workflows using AI agents while maintaining human oversight for critical decisions.

Braven will use the funds to accelerate product development, open a London office, and expand across Latin America and the United States.

Braven says more than $800M in gross written premiums have flowed through its platform. The company serves clients in seven countries across three continents.
